Girls and boys find out what it really means to own a horse. Their daily duties include: brushing, cleaning out hooves, saddling, riding lessons, and bathing the horses. Riding lessons are by certified riding instructors daily.

Beginners: CHEER will focus on western style riding. The goals we will work towards include horsemanship safety, ground handling, basic body positioning and alignment, grooming, saddling and mounting/dismounting. They will learn how to use the correct aids to control their horse. Body alighment, balance and an independent seat are all the building blocks to a well balanced rider/horse.

Intermediate to Advanced: May choose either Western or English style riding. They will learn more about natural aids. They will proceed with the lope, trotting on diagonals, balance of horse and rider, schooling figures, correct leads and maneuvering around patterns. "All english riding lessons are on the flat only, working with communication skills, balance and body alignment.

If you have never touched a horse before or if you're an intermediate to advanced rider, the instruction and activities that this camp has will challenge and improve your riding skills. Safety skills in working with horses are our number "1" goal!

We highly recommend two or more camp sessions for those serious horse lovers. The first week of camp is very active in learning stages of new things. The second week of repetition will bring this into memory. Camp sessions are limited to ten children.

Cost for camp is $275 which is Mon-Fri 9am - 3pm ....  Registration fee of $100.00 is needed to reserve a week for your child. Deposits are subtracted from the total tuition. Remaining balance is due on the first day of the scheduled camp week... Thanks, Debbie
